"Gelbat" och lystrat i vår samling / Stained and lustred in our collection
Hur gelbning och lystring går till finns beskrivet här.I vår samling har vi en karaff med ett par tillhörande glas från Hovnatorps Nya, samt ett anonymt vinglas.
Vi har också ett par röd-betsade vaser som också ör exempel på "fria förädlare".
Den stora, med dekor av Växjö domkyrka, har etikett från Kronobergsglas - en firma som låg i Lessebo.
(Det var flera gravörfirmor som gjorde precis den här typen av vaser, med andra motiv.)

In our collection we have a carafe with a couple of glasses from Hovmantorps Nya, plus an anonymous wine glass.
We also have a couple of red-stained vases which also are an example of "independent processors"
(engravers or, say, painters, with their own label, buying glass from several glassworks).
The big vase, with Växjö Cathedral as décor, has a label from Kronobergsglas, a firm then located in Lessebo.
(There were several small "indie firms" making these vases, with different motives.)
